FAQ
WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED?
So, we did start a gift registry, really we did. It was at the Bay and we went in and had our consultation and got our laser guns and went through the store to do some recon first. We then started firing our laser guns at all of the consumer items that we desperately need...we scanned a queen-sized duvet and a set of sheets and then Ben was violently ill all over the floor (not, thank God, on anything else).
Needless to say, we quickly handed in our guns and vamoosed and spent the rest of the weekend tending to Ben. When the Bay called a couple of weeks later to ask if we were planning on registering for more than a duvet and a set of sheets, we told the lady our story and she responded with, "Oh...you're the ones..."
And then mortification set in.
SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS NEED?
We're both really old and I've had the house for 10 years so really, we don't NEED anything. There are house fixing up things that have to happen soon (like my steps, which will collapse soon, and my fence, which is rotting) so if anyone feels like they have to get us something, Home Depot cards or your old Canadian Tire Money would be much appreciated...
WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY OF?
It's going to be pretty casual - the actual ceremony is at two or as soon after two as I can get my dress on...afterwards there will be snacks and visiting and then that's it really...we have the place until 5 so feel free to hang out or take off if you didn't get your gardening done this weekend.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Of course there will...Evolution Catering is doing food for the grownups and an awesome kids' table with a build-your-own cupcake bar. And cake, of course.
ARE YOU DOING THE KISSING WHEN PEOPLE CLINK ON THEIR GLASSES THING?
If you REALLY want to watch two middle-aged people suck face, have at 'er, but we won't be hurt or surprised if you don't.

First Post
This is the first post on our wedding website. For those of you who are confused, Hildy Bowen and Brett Bell are getting married on May 25, 2008. We're horrifically behind on preparations so I figured this was the best way of getting in touch with many of you quickly. As more details become available (translation, when Hildy and Brett get their s*** together) they will be posted here.
In the meantime, if you can make it, the wedding is on May 25th (yes, I know it's a Sunday) at Ladyslipper Court at 2:00 PM. Please RSVP to hildyandbrettwedding@gmail.com.
